She was transferred to Anami on January 23, 2018, along with Pweeke, her father, and Punia, her mother. Very shy, she always hid behind her mother and took a long time to trust the staff. She wouldn’t even come close to get her favorite fruits. Sometimes, she ate her parents’ leftovers because she was too afraid to approach the food trays. She often fought with Pweeke when she wanted to take some food from him.

With much patience and persistence, Zuri overcame her fear. The conflicts diminished as she realized that food was plentiful and that the staff was there to provide support. Zuri loves climbing the towers and hanging upside down, feeling the sun and wind she enjoys so much. She is very active and playful. Her fur now shines more than ever.
