Zezinho

Male. DOB: 12/31/93. After fourteen years of suffering in a circus, on February 12, 2007, Zezinho arrived at the Instituto Conservacionista Anami. Very humanized, he always sought contact with the team, vocalizing to attract the attention of anyone passing by. These days, he pretty much ignores people. He lives with five other chimpanzees and has chosen Maria as his companion. The two are always seen making demonstrations of affection and companionship. He has a hammock and blankets to spend the nights, but he prefers to sleep in Maria’s hammock, with her. Zezinho is considered a calm and very affectionate chimpanzee. He hardly fights or disagrees with those he is close to. He is very intelligent and knows how to live in a group, he likes to eat quietly, organizing food as if he were setting the table.
