Female. DOB: 2000, approximately, at the Paraíso Perdido Park zoo. On February 17, 2006, after a 6-month struggle, the rescue was carried out and Vitória, finally, would gain a new destiny. After a trip that lasted more than 36 hours, she arrived quite scared. She was very suspicious and aloof, but gradually came to trust the team and enjoy her new home, which offered many opportunities for long play with other chimpanzees. Today, she lives in a group of six individuals, with Lucy as her best friend, with whom she shared the tasks of raising Noel during all these years.
