Tina
Chimpanzee
She arrived at Anami together with Maria in 2007, very suspicious and quite apprehensive. She carried with her the trauma of 20 years of mistreatment in the circus. She would not go down to the ground, would not leave her room, and looked around in fear of any noise. After some time receiving assistance and care, she began gaining confidence.
Currently, she lives with five other chimpanzees and shared her room with Pedrinho, who also acted as the “resolver” of her conflicts.
Her favorite pastime is to lie on the tower, observing everything. On cold days, she does not hesitate to carry her blankets to the outdoor enclosure and stays completely covered, with only her head sticking out.
