He arrived at Anami in 2007, coming from a now defunct circus where he was subjected to abuse. He was integrated into a group of chimpanzees transferred from São Paulo and regularly competed for leadership with an older male, Biito, who happens to be his brother.

Pedrinho had a strong personality and was always provoking others in the group. With unmatched agility, he proved to be a stealthy male. Tina was his best friend, and in situations of conflict, he was the one who protected her.

He passed away on January 14th, 2025.

He arrived at Anami in 2002 and was kept separate from the others for safety reasons, since he was very young. However, on the day he was introduced, the surprise was immense: the meeting resulted in strong embraces and positive interactions.

Zezinho

After fourteen years of suffering in a circus, on February 12, 2007, Zezinho arrived at the Instituto Conservacionista Anami. Very humanized, he always sought contact with the team, vocalizing to attract the attention of anyone passing by. These days, he pretty much ignores people.
