Billy Jr.

He was born at the Bauru Zoo, where he was rejected by his mother. Then, he was transferred to the Brasília Zoo and arrived at the Sanctuary in 2003, with only 6 months old to be cared for along with his older sister, Carolina, who was also rejected by her mother. He is very playful, affectionate, intelligent, gets along very well with other chimpanzees and has the personality of an eternal child, always wanting to play and throwing tantrums when he is upset. Billy Jr is known for his exceptional vocalizations, where he sounds like someone else screaming, and for clapping his hands on his chest (like a gorilla) to get attention.
