Judy Chimpanzee
Through an international NGO, after much processing, Judy was transferred to the Anami Institute sanctuary in 2012. After the quarantine period, she was integrated with Omega – the Lebanese chimpanzee who had lived alone until then. His euphoria was remarkable. The anxiety to be with her was reflected in her behavior. In the first physical contact, the two embraced and acceptance was mutual. Today, the chimpanzee couple lives in great harmony.
